No one was killed or even injured in the non-event in Times Square, but Obama and his peons can’t stop talking about it.
Dozens of Americans were killed, and thousands of lives were ruined in the Tennessee floods, and Obama hasn’t said a single word about it in public.
Meanwhile he sends Billions of tax dollars to bail out Greece while the EU has the largest Gross Economic Output of any trading bloc in the world.
Is he completely out of touch with average American citizens?
Because the Grand old Opry is not the Apollo theater
Where can i find a map or maps showing areas that are commonly affected by floods? In Australia.
Around the end of point where they reach the ocean.
I live in an old house from the 1950’s. The basement has been flooding for a while now. We’ve used a snake various times but lately it doesn’t work. We’ve noticed that it floods everytime the washing machine empties. Please help, and don’t tell me I have to remove the floor.
Double check that the hose is not crimped or clogged.
I had the same thing suddenly start happening. We would snake the pipe and everything would seem ok then we would push the machine back in place and it would work for a bit slowly over time the machine gets moved back more and the hose would crimp again and the flooding would start again.
Then we would pull the machine from the wall snake again put back in place and all is well.
All this time we thought it was the snake that was helping but it was not. It was just that we were freeing up the hose. Giving it room to flow again.
We actually had to replace the hose and get a different shape that would not get pinned / crimped between the machine and pipes or wall.
Hope your problem is as simple as mine was!
Why does God put earthquakes and floods more in non-white people’s places lately?
Maybe because the majority of the world isn’t "white people’s places"?

Also, what actions did they do towards re-building and recovering their farming?
Both river Tigre and Euphates flooded periodically. When they were back to normal, there were many puddles of water in areas of the flood plain. The water was soon absorbed in the soil and the farmers planted their crops in this muddy area.
People used to celebrate this event because they thought that rivers flooded because Gods will.
The flood still continues every year, even today, although less and less due to the riveras has dried year by year.
History has recorded although a fact that may be related to the Gilgamesh and biblical flood. In June about 2900 BC during the annual inundation of the Euphrates River, the river was at crest stage. A six-day thunderstorm caused the river to rise about 15 cubits (22 feet) higher and overflow the levees. By the time the river began to rise, it was already too late to evacuate to the foothills of the mountains 110 miles away. Ziusudra boarded one the the barges that was already loaded with cargo being transported to market. The runaway barge floated down the Euphrates River into the Persian Gulf and grounded in an estuary at the mouth of the river. After moving to dry land, Ziusudra offered a sacrifice to a Sumerian god on an alter at the top of a temple ziggurat, an artificial hill. Later, story tellers mistranslated the ambiguous word for hill as mountain. The story tellers then erroneously assumed that the nearby barge must have grounded on top of a mountain. Additional details in the reconstructed legend about Ziusudra (Noah) can be found in the Noah’s Ark book.

I live only about 500 feet above sea level. Will melted ice from from the north pole flood my area in my lifetime?
Nathan - not even the wildest nightmares of Al Gore foresee that kind of sea level rise.
I would quite happily buy a house that was only a few feet above sea level and on the sea front. Maybe in the Maldives.
I remember two ABC news videos about floods in Quebec and Vermont in 1996. I believe one was of the Magog Power Dam at Sherbrooke Quebec, and the other showed a small hydroelectric plant in Vermont. The gates on the Magog Dam were spouting water, while the small hydro in Vermont looked like it could be inundated at any moment. Most dramatic.
