It’s from their new album, "IV", but I can’t find chords for it anywhere. I’d really like to learn it because it’s the epitome of my relationship with my girlfriend and she loves the song.
I guess the song is new enough that the lyrics aren’t even out there. I’ll write out a verse and chorus the best I can can make them out. The tuning appears to be drop-D where your low E string is de-tuned to a D. Do you want to mess with that? I can tab the intro in drop-D but I’ll just put the actual chords in the verse and chorus. You can adapt them to alternate tuning if you want. The key is F
[VERSE]
[Dm] Turn the [C] page and turn [F] away
[Dm] Left the [C] broken pieces [F] where they [G] lay
[Dm] All the [C] nights you lay [F] awake
[Bb] Planning your [Dm] escape
And [C] no one ever [F] came
[VERSE 2]
The second verse ends on Bb instead of F which transitions into the chorus
[CHORUS]
[Bb] Whenever you’re [Dm] about to break
You never have to [Bb] be afraid
Baby I will [F] come for you come for you
[C] Carry you home
When you’re in your [Dm] darkest days
Even when you [Bb] love to wait
Baby I will [F] come for you come for you
[C] Carry you all the [Bb] way

Yahoo tends to edit the dashes and spacing in tab, so I hope this all comes out correctly.

If your losing train your teams to be of a higher level. I mean you got the VS seeker, right? Use it.

I prefer playing southern rock and hard rock for the most part(DecembeRadio, Day of Fire, Maylene And The Sons of Disaster). It’s just funner, in my opinion.
I also like playing soft, ballad-like music(think Gary Jules’ "Mad World" or Leonard Cohen’s "Hallelujah").
So there are mine.
What is/are your favorite style(s) to play?
If you feel so inclined, please put examples of bands/songs that influence your style.
I play classical best on my piano. For electric guitar, I’d like to play alt. rock but I’m still pretty much a beginner so I don’t play much at all. >.<"
Recently got into bands like Hellyeah, Black Spiders, Maylene and sons of disaster, sort of heavy metal with cowboy, deep south sound, any recomendations of simmilar bands, artists?
Damageplan
Rebel Meets Rebel
Mudvayne
Texas Hippie Coalition
Down
Voodoo Six
The Defiled
The Wildhearts
Heaven’s Basement
Viking Skull
He Is Legend
Every Time I Die
Fight Paris
I have been wondering if they were brothers or at least related because they look so much alike. But I can’t find anywhere that says that they are. I do know that Ryan and Don are brothers though.
I’ve never heard anything about them being related. And I’m a pretty big fan of both bands. I’m also a member of DH’s official fan club "The Blessed Resistance". Here’s a question answered by Ryan from the TBR community board: "Q: Hey I heard this really great rock band Thin December and a friend of mine told me that a couple of you guys (Don and Ryan) are related to the lead singer Johnny Cowan. Is that really true? If so talent really runs in your guy’s family!
A: Yes! That’s my cousin Johnny. He’s definitely talented and I think he’s going to do some amazing things with his music. Very cool to know you’ve heard his stuff." So, I can tell you that Don and Ryan are related to Johnny Cowan, but no clue about Matt Clark. It seems like Ryan would have mentioned something about Matt if he was related to him.
They absolutely rock, I love their sound. Thanks in advance.
