I am a high school student currently wanting to peruse a career in Emergency Medicine. I was wondering if anyone is currently working in Emergency Medicine and can give me some tips on it, and what to expect on the job. Thanks!

You don’t major in any medical specialty. Majoring is for undergraduate work, and you can major in anything and still go to medical school.

In med school, we all learn the same stuff. Following med school graduation, we do a residency in our chosen specialty, and that is where you may start learning emergency medicine.

That was my second choice for a specialty, but there was too much non-emergent stuff for my liking. I ended up in anesthesia, so all of my patients require critical care. Most don’t until I get to them, of course.

Good luck with your studies, and I hope you fulfill that dream!

Add: I’m not sure if everyone would have to evacuate, but if you have any information on what would happen, it would be greatly appreciated.

This is for the Tacoma area but it can expand to include Seattle and other areas affected as well.

It’s from their new album, "IV", but I can’t find chords for it anywhere. I’d really like to learn it because it’s the epitome of my relationship with my girlfriend and she loves the song.

I guess the song is new enough that the lyrics aren’t even out there. I’ll write out a verse and chorus the best I can can make them out. The tuning appears to be drop-D where your low E string is de-tuned to a D. Do you want to mess with that? I can tab the intro in drop-D but I’ll just put the actual chords in the verse and chorus. You can adapt them to alternate tuning if you want. The key is F

[VERSE]

[Dm] Turn the [C] page and turn [F] away
[Dm] Left the [C] broken pieces [F] where they [G] lay
[Dm] All the [C] nights you lay [F] awake
[Bb] Planning your [Dm] escape
And [C] no one ever [F] came

[VERSE 2]
The second verse ends on Bb instead of F which transitions into the chorus

[CHORUS]

[Bb] Whenever you’re [Dm] about to break
You never have to [Bb] be afraid
Baby I will [F] come for you come for you
[C] Carry you home
When you’re in your [Dm] darkest days
Even when you [Bb] love to wait
Baby I will [F] come for you come for you
[C] Carry you all the [Bb] way

Drop D intro
E—————————————- Turn the page and turn away

Does evacuation during miscarriage leads to delay to conceive? Because I want to be pregnant, since the evacuation last year August ve been trying to conceive up till today.

Sometimes a miscarriage can result in conception problems afterwards, especially if there is scarring from a procedure to ensure the uterus has expelled all it’s contents. Since it has been almost a year since your last pregnancy, I would suggest talking with your doctor. Generally speaking, most women who have experienced miscarriage go on to get pregnant with no trouble at all, especially if they conceived the first time with no trouble.

I’m very sorry for your loss, and I truly hope you get your rainbow baby soon. Good luck!

A: This describes the British who were in a death struggle with Napoleon, the Adolf Hitler of his time.

B: Never happened

C: The army didn’t do a whole lot, except for winning the Battle of Orleans, which unfortunately came AFTER the war had already ended. Remember in those days news travelled as fast as a horse could trot.

E: Americans had little to no enthusiasm for the war. Some parts of northern New England even though about splitting from the US because they had close business, social and family ties to the British colonies. Bottom line: Nobody really cared one way or the other. As for the US Navy, without a doubt is marked the formation of the USN and gave it a role, purpose and traditions.

American participation in the War of 1812 was minimal. And it was not a Big Deal to the British either; their focus was on defeating Napoleon and this was a distraction cooked up by France and a few US politicians who thought they could benefit from running a war.

The defeat of the US meant that the British colonies, e.g. Upper Canada (Ontario), Lower Canada (Quebec), Nova Scotia, inter alia, did not become American. This left the door open to the formation of Canada in 1867. Though many Canadians like to say we won the War of 1812, the strict truth is that the Americans lost, the British won but didn’t care and until 1867 there was no Canada.
