Hmm.. that’s funny. …
Hmm.. that’s funny. I know TWO people who walked WAY MORE than that. One walked from Colorado to W. Va. The other one walked from Colorado to Kingman, Arizona. I myself have walked AT LEAST 50 miles to get out of danger - it could’ve been more miles than that, I’m just estimating. I guess the 3 of us are just exceptional people, huh? (not) I don’t expect handicapped ppl to do that, but able bodies should be able to. Heck, how many miles do illegals walk to get here? More than 200 miles I bet.

I’m from mexico, i recently visited New Orleans, and I was never been in there, so I don’t know how it was before the hurricane. I personally think that NO is a beautiful city, loved the architecture, and the culture, but as I said, I don’t know how it was before, and I was surprised that the city looked kinda sad, and alone, can someone tell me why’s that? Is because the hurricane damages? Let’s hope this new year the goverment sends money to NO, c’mon that’s such a great place

Interesting trivia: …
Interesting trivia:
A storm like Katrina strikes New Orleans once about every 300 years, give or take a few years. The last powerful superstorm to strike was, indeed, in the late 1790s, about 300 years ago. Only then the St. Louis Cathedral was destroyed, then rebuilt in the early 1800s.
Ah, well, at least Katrina didn’t take out the Cathedral this time! =D
