people getting … people getting knocked out doesn’t make a band hardcore. Its the style of music they play. Maylene is freaking awesome but they aren’t hardcore. They are southern metalcore. If you want a band that plays actual hardcore music look up Subzero, Madball, or , even old Bury Your Dead.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see Maylene. I love them, but sadly they never come to Indiana because this state sucks. lol

lol neither norma … lol neither norma jean, underoath, or maylene are hardcore.. i like em and ive seen em all plenty of times but they are not hardcore and what do you expect? when a band becomes more popular the crowds become more diverse if you want to go to a show with a bunch of sweaty dudes and bro it up then go to see bands that arent being played on comcast. problem solved
well said man. i … well said man. i hate how shows now days are scene fests of 14 year old girls and 17 year old guys that might as well be girs stand around and try too look “cool”. i miss the days of going to shows and everyone is in like sweat pants and t-shirts that probably havent been washed in like 2 weeks and everyone didnt care about how they looked. when people came to actually listen to the MUSIC and not try to impress people with there ugly hair and clothes.
