  • POKEMON PEARL: When does pokemon stop obeying you?

Posted by admin on February 15th, 2010 and filed under maylene |

My WHOLE team is lvl 30 and I just beat Maylene (3rd badge)
I know that after two badges pokemon up till 30 obey you and for 5th badge pokemon up to lvl 50 obey. How about after 3rd badge? Is lvl 30 too high? What is the highest lvl pokemon obey you after 3rd badge?

The limits (I checked, just to be sure) are…

    Under 2 Badges — Lv 10
    Under 4 Badges — Lv 30
    Under 6 Badges — Lv 50
    Under 8 Badges — Lv 70

The level caps increase with every 2 badges. Obtaining all 8 badges will remove the limits completely.

Please be aware that it only applies to OUTSIDER (TRADED) POKEMON. Pokemon you captured or hatched SHOULD obey you beyond these level limits. Therefore, if you’re near these limits during a battle, stick with your own to be safe.

    Hope this helps!

Anything over 30 will not obey you. However, from memory, I believe your starter will always obey you.
