thanks for your coments modern maverick I understand you chances are slim if caught un aware in one these situations I was trained NBC in TA the things in reality is your never carry an NBC suit around with you im just showing peole options but the gas mask i own is in date and I can get suitable filters for it that I own so I would use it to get out of dodge if was leaving my house but I do not carry around with me so if caught out without I just have deal with it thats life

4. Any equipment …
4. Any equipment you find is surplus, which means…..it’s worn out, you cant find much supporting items like filters, and when you do, filters all have a shelf-life and surplus is usually all expired. This is why the military has gotten rid of it.
5. You need antidotes, many times it is required that you “shoot up” an antidote, just after you get your suit on because you weren’t fast enough. Antidotes are not for sale to the common people.

2. protection from these orted nasties, all require decontamination kits that are specific to each threat, and there are hundreds, if not thousands of different kinds.
3. Decontamination requires at least one or more people with you, and you all have to take turns supporting each other in getting decon’d and getting your protective gear on and off.

Please don’t take any offense to this response, but I was trained in the US Army on N.B.C preparedness and response and I need to seriously say that it wont do any good to go out and buy gas masks, and MOPP suits or anything of such nature.
1. in order to protect yourself in time, you need an advanced warning device(s), and these are not sold on the open market, those that are around, are obsolete. (continued in above comment)
